During the installation DISKUS chooses its window according to
the used camera with 800x600 or 1280x1024 pixels in the upper left-hand
corner. The following configuration allows you to change the size
of the window.
Please check at first if you monitor is able to present the resolution
and the frequency: (On the desk top click the right mouse button,
choose preferencies and check resolution and frequency)
Please open the file c:\programme\diskus32\config\mikro.1
with the editor and look for the header [Diskus] :
Choose 1024x768 or 1280x1024 for high resolution cameras as JVC
KYF70
[Diskus]
Diskus_Size_x=1280 (or 1024)
Diskus_Size_y=1024 (or 768 )
Screen_Size=1280 (or 1024)
Frequency=60
If DISKUS runs with a beamer of 1024x768, take the values in brackets.

Use this configuration with 800x600 pixels for the camera Hitachi
HV-C20:
Diskus]
Diskus_Size_x=800
Diskus_Size_y=600
Screen_Size=800
Frequency=60 |
Choose Frequency=85 for RTL monitors.
How to Use More than one configuration?
When you have images in different resolution you do not like to
be rescaled on the screen, you can configure DISKUS for each resolution:
- Make a copy of the file mikro.1 and rename it to mikro.2. Does
mikro.2 exist allready, take another number.
- Now change the configuration of mikro.2 or the newest number.
- When DISKUS has started, you are asked to choose the configuration.
Positioning the DISKUS Window
If the DISKUS window is smaller than the resolution or the display,
you can choose its position with:
Diskus_Start_x=
Diskus_Start_y=
A negative value of -1 leads to a centric position of the DISKUS
window.
- X Position: The value for x has to be in steps of 4, for example
0, 40, 224. If the monitor has a resolution of 1024x768, DISKUS
(800x600) appears on the right hand side of the screen when using:
Diskus_Start_x=224 (because 1024-800=224).
- Y Position: If the monitor has a resolution of 1024x768, DISKUS
(800x600) appears at the bottom of the screen when using: Diskus_Start_y=168
(because 768-600=168).
