> Maceral Analysis

The maceral analysis is an additional module of FOSSIL. With an automated stage it replaces the 'pointer counter'.

How does it work?

• To initialise the stage you enter parameters as number of position vertical and horizontal and the distance between the positions.
• The stage moves to the first position and the camera shows the live image in full resolution.

	The result of the maceral analysis is shown on the screen and can be printed in a report.
